Personality: Tidal is a shy loner. She is usually seen in the back of her stall casually eating hay and minding her own business. She tends to only hang out with Ursa Major as the two are stabled together. Even though Tidal is shy, she is the sweetest horse you will ever meet; wouldn't even hurt a fly. She'll never bite or kick, even if you do something to provoke her. Tidal will just pin her ears if you tighten the girth on the saddle to tight. On the track she was competitive, but not agressive enough to push her way across the finish line. Tidal was a natural slow starter. It took her a couple of seconds to get a steady pace going, and then she would bring up the rear. She always listened to her jockey and responded well to commands, but she hated leading the pack. Tidal much preferred to hang out in the back at least 2 lenghts behind and let the leaders tire out. In the very last minutes of the race, Tidal will make her move. This was risky as nobody thought she could muster the energy to make up the distance she lost. But apparently that method worked for Tidal as she didn't like racing any other way.
